So you are here for speed? You don’t care about parades or princesses—you want G-forces. We have built the ultimate 72-hour plan to hit the Florida heavyweights.
Day 1: Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Start your trip at the undisputed king of thrills. Rope drop VelociCoaster—it is widely considered the best roller coaster in America. Follow it up with the Incredible Hulk Coaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Finish the night with a Butterbeer in Hogsmeade.
Day 2: SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld has quietly become the coaster capital of Orlando. You need to hit Mako (a 200ft hypercoaster), Kraken (floorless loop fest), and the new Pipeline: The Surf Coaster. The lines here are often shorter than Disney or Universal, meaning more rides per hour.
Day 3: The SkyCoaster & Iron Gwazi
For the true brave souls, head to Fun Spot Kissimmee to ride the world’s tallest SkyCoaster (300 feet!). If you have a car, drive an hour west to Busch Gardens to ride Iron Gwazi, the steepest hybrid coaster in the world.
